Here and there in bad weather!

Yesterday..WOW!!!! It was the worst day to drive in the snow and Fred and I had to go over to his families for a christmas dinner. We don't exchange gifts. We made it after an hour of drive time which normally was only 15-20 minutes. Thank god we left early. And thankfully he kept everyone safe on the roads as most of his family showed up. Emily slept the whole ride there, and when we got there all she wanted to do was go up and down the stairs. She can't go down, but she could go up...lol So I hung out mostly on the stairs with my niece in law Jamie! She is such a sweetie. Then after that was over, we went to my friend Linda's and she gave Emily a couple gifts. That was fun, she didn't know what to do. Linda had kitties on the gift tags and she liked those the most I think. lol After that, we made the journey home in the nasty weather again, and I rolled my window down to clear off the passenger mirror and well my window wouldn't go back up...so it was a chilly ride home too..lol But the window is fixed all I had to do was push up on the window and the button at the same time. The weather is still bad outside today and I need a few important things..so Fred is going to take me and Em to the store tonight when he gets home from work in the truck. Cookies...

Today it finally looks like I may be able to bake some cookies. I'm craving some baked goods. I know I shouldn't be worried because there will be plenty to eat at all the christmas's , but it's fun to make some stuff too. So I'm going to venture out and get some ingredients today, and hang out with the family making cookies. I think Emily will like to help some. She's tired today because she got up at 2am and wouldn't go back to sleep until 530am. It is so weird because she has NEVER done that bef0re. We were watching cartoons in the weeeee hours of the morning for the first time EVER..lol She's so funny always keeping me on my toes!! So while she's napping I'm going to go and get some time away for a few and let daddy take time to watch the little munchkin! Only a few more days until Christmas already, I can hardly believe that another year has almost come and gone!!

I'm feeling ill!

I'm so unhappy that I may have caught some kind of stomach bug. I'm not feeling like myself today. I hate being sick. I have a baby to take care of, a house to clean, and laundry to do. Holiday stuff to wrap and also cookies to bake..it's just neverending. If your a mother and/or a wife you know exactly how I am feeling. I need to rest but I just can't because of the things I need to do. So right now, I'm sweeping the floor and getting ready to mop it all while my hubby snow blows and my daughter is taking a nap!!

Missing my cat.

I was looking through some pictures tonight because I was making some gifts and then also because my family decided that this christmas we were going to do something a little bit unique. We decided we were going to find funny pictures of people in the family and put them with our gifts. We don't give gifts to everyone, we just play a game using something we buy for $15 bucks for a man and a woman. Anyway, as I was looking through pics, I came across a picture of my boy...Henry Bojangles. He died unexpectedly on Memorial day 2008. I miss him so much...he was such a sweet cat and it's just one of those things that hurt. Whenever I see pics of him, I cry. So as I sit here at my computer, I can't stop thinking about the good old times I had with Henry.

I miss you little buddy!!!! RIP!!!

After all these years...

Ok to you two my only blog followers so far LOL Please don't think I am weird. Just so you know up front...I love my hubby. But it just happens that on facebook...and old boyfriend of mine found me....and after all these years I got choked up and very emotional just seeing HIS name on there!! Is that weird or just not right??? My stomach is in knots STILL. I know, I know...lol

My luck sucks!

So anyways..I thought I would go shopping today and finish up my much needed christmas shopping....and well my car wouldn't start...and then I finally got it started and went shopping...and when I got into the the car in the parking lot, it wouldn't start again! I was so mad. I wish we could figure out what was doing this. I just had a new starter put in a little while ago. I just pray that this wouldn't happen to me in the middle of winter. Finally I got it started and came home to make a lasagna. I'm so excited to be able to make one seeing as I haven't made one in a while. It's going to be delicious!! Fred was excited to come home to the smell of a good dinner cooking. All the while my little Emily has been running around the house playing and playing. It's so cute!!! I was also messing around with my new camera taking some crazy pics of myself...check them out!!!

This is my first time blogging, so I have no idea what I'm doing. This is a learning process for me. I'm so excited to be able to write/type stuff that is on my mind. I hope that most of you don't find this a bad thing. Since having my daughter Emily, I have been struggling with depression issues and I figured this would be a place to help me release some of the stress and anxiety I have been feeling.
